Boomers tend to have a fair historical perspective (especially on the 20th century); most of us are fairly liberal politically. We've seen enormous social & political changes. Many of us share an appreciation of physical fitness, some music, etc.
I've been a runner for over 40 years; also do some calisthenics/weight work. I eat little saturated fat & don't smoke. I like to interact with people and have fun; I also try to stay abreast of happenings in the U.S. and the rest of the world.
Socializing with friends and family, watching football and other sports, watching TV and movies, listening to music, reading, walking/playing with dog, enjoying great scenery, going to lake, e.g.
I just retired from the Public Utility Commission. Will do some massage therapy, volunteer work (e.g., mentoring/tutoring), reading, relaxing, etc. Native Austinite who loves hill country. Longtime runner and Longhorn fan; put premium on kindness.
This is a splendid group, with many very friendly people and fun activities.
