What's great about being a boomer?

It is a group with a variety sometimes too many(e-mails) healthy Other than frequenting bars etc. We get to make new friends and acquaintances.

As a boomer, how are you staying so darn young?

I'm just fortunate to have good genes and I try to live a balanced life with exercise, enough sleep and little alcohol I hope to "reverse" the aging trend with more diligent(esp.winter)exercise, Live in the present, NOW, younger thinking and being grateful for life's lessons learned; "hard knocks."

As a boomer, what do you like to do to have fun?

Most indoor and good weather outdoor activities; walking, dancing, conversation, hiking, tennis, photography, sailing, travel and adventure. Watching my grand son grow; attending his soccer games and just plain "down on the floor" interaction. Soon to have another grandson this month and another(??) in August this 2015 year, Volunteering, maybe.

Please read the "Notice of Assumed Risk" in the About Us section of Boomertime's home page. This must be read and affirmed to be approved. An answer of "Yes" will attest that you have read the "Notice" and agree to your assumption of risk. Thanks.

What David B. is saying about this Meetup Group

Too many e-mails visually flooding my in box on a daily basis. I Would like to learn how to just reduce the number of those and just have notifications which will allow me to see a synopsis only of current the little box-like window, bullet items. At large events it would be nice to be able to have a meet and person assigned so that introductions can take place, even if I'm late. I often cannot identify the group among large attendances at places like the Oasis and Night Clubs. Could we be issued with small name tags for us to keep in the car?
