How to attract early stage finance and what kills deals!

Dear Bootlawyers,

Bootlaw is back and is bigger and better than ever!

The team has been working tirelessly over the summer months to ensure that this year’s schedule is packed with our own top lawyers, entrepreneurs and guest speakers from the start-up world who will provide everything you need to ensure your start-up is the success that it deserves to be.

On 23 October 2013, we will have our first guest speaker of the season, Colin Spiller, who led the launch of and now manages the London Angel club for Angels Den, having closed over £1m in the last 6 months. Colin will be on hand to walk us through that tricky early stage of many start-ups where closing those all important financing deals will determine whether your start up flies or dives. Colin will walk us through the dos and don’ts of sealing the financial deal, so you will have a head start when that VC comes knocking on your door!

We look forward to seeing you all at the first Bootlaw of the new season!

Really good, Colin Spiller gave us a very helpful overview. It was nice to be able to chat with the Pinsent Mason lawyers afterwards, who can all seem to make a serious subject fun, too.

PS: To mix things up a little, this time we will be holding this event on the 15th floor of Crown Place.
