This group will explore how video and new forms of multi-media enabled learning are revolutionizing education across the world. Video in Education now goes beyond simple publishing and includes centralized access anytime anywhere to many video repositories and libraries, internal university 'YouTube', deep learning management system integrations such as video assignments and interactive recorded classes, collaborative video & editing, video for distance education and media-powered blogs and social networks, measurement and analytics, empowring students involvement.
Members of this group can meet with academics, developers, students and researchers who care about video/media and would like to share; case studies, stories, practices, methodologies, solution designs, system integrations, use of video in lectures, video on demand, webcasting, e-learning and more.
Since Massachusetts is the mecca for educational institutions that care about the future of video & media, we decided to launch the first user group in the greater Boston area.
If you care about video in education, join us in the coming event.
If distance is an issue, we will also host it live online to allow as much participation as possible so don't worry if you can't physically make it.
