Hi everyone, I'm sorry I won't be able to make it this week. Hope you all will have good time, and see you in two weeks.

I was wondering what kind of study group this is? I am currently enrolled in a Japanese class at UMB and would love some help working out my essay and such.

Hi Joshua. Basically, we just have free conversation for about two hours, in which we talk about anything either in Japanese or English, depending on your preference. The group is open for everyone, and no experience or language skills are required. There are some people who bring their textbook to the group and ask some questions. I'm sure there will always be someone who is willing to help you with your Japanese. Please feel free to join us, and let me know if you have any questions.

To add to that, the group is very informal and there isn't really a predetermined agenda. So if you bring your essay, I'm sure people would be happy to help you edit it. :)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
