Despicable Me 2 (7:20PM Show)

Last minute addition!  Turns out I am free this Saturday and thought I would love to see this flick.  I adored the first one and if it is even half as good as the last one, then it will be great!   By the way, does anyone know how I can get a couple of those minions to come and clean my house?  I don't usually worry about reviews, but if you are curious it got 75% at Rotten tomatoes.

I will be at the theater by 6:30 and we will head in for seats at 7.  The movie start time is 7:20.

That will give us 20 minutes to take turns with snack and restroom runs, while others guard the seats.

I encourage people to buy their tickets in advance so you don't get there to find them sold out.

If you miss the group ahead of time, come find us after. We gather in the hallway outside of the theater we just saw the movie in, to discuss the film a bit, allow for restroom breaks and to get a head count of all those who would like to go out after for drinks and munchies.

$$$$Managing the after event is much easier if everyone brings cash, so please plan ahead if you want to go out with the group after.$$$

I can pretty much just say "Ditto" to what Doreen has said. However, I have to add my deep disappointment w/ Doreen, who, once again, forced me to eat and drink WAY more than I wanted to. Now I'll be up half the night, lying in bed, feeling like a beached whale. :-(...HAH! ;-) Really, though, thanks to everybody for turning out, and to Doreen, as always, for organizing a wicked good event.

I purchased ticket in online via fundango.com , but a error occurred in confirmation section. I checked my bank account, payment was done. But I don't get a receit in my e-mail. What can I do for getting my ticket?

    July 13, 2013

    • Doreen C.

Actually it should be easy to get your ticket Log onto Fandango and go to your account link. Look fot your purchase history and click on the ticket. Alternatively if you go to a kiosk at the theater it should print out tickets for you.

Do you know what the movie length is? i just want to be sure i don't get locked out from the T this time. Stayed too late last time and had to taxi it home and get my car the next day.

    July 10, 2013

    • Doreen C.

Ouch! Sorry about that. The movie last week was way longer than usual. This one is much shorter. We should be able to sit down somewhere to eat at 9:30ish.

Will I be able to follow the movie if I haven't seen Despicable Me 1? :)

    July 10, 2013

    • Doreen C.

I think you will get the idea. Big bad evil genius ends up with a few kids to take care of and silliness ensues. Although it is totally worth watching if you can rent it before then. :)
