Skype Meeting: György Lukács-History and Class Consciousness

Written between 1919 and 1922, History and Class Consciousness (1923) initiated the current of thought that came to be known as Western Marxism. Lukács' work elaborates and expands upon Marxist theories such as ideology, false consciousness, reification and class consciousness.

We will start with the first three essays: "What is orthodox marxism", "The Marxism of Rosa Luxemburg" and "Class Consciousness."
