For our second meeting in our Spring Pragmatism series we will look at William James' The Meaning of Truth. William James presented his Pragmatic Theory of Truth in a series of lectures from 1907, titled Pragmatism. This idea proved to be controversial and so James followed up with The Meaning of Truth (1909), a collection of essays, to further clarify, explain and defend his pragmatic notion of truth.
