Game night!

Who's interested in a Game Night?

We've found a well-lit, conveniently-located venue - the Brighton branch of the Boston Public Library! http://www.bpl.org/branches/brighton.htm

There's a parking lot, and it's about a 5 minute walk from the 57, 86, and 65 bus stops, (Take the Green Line to Kenmore Station. Take Bus #57 and get off at Brighton Center. Walk up Academy Hill Road; the library is next to the Court House.)

If you want to bring games, that'd be great - I'll bring a few fun ones (Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, etc.) and we can decide what to play when we get there...

We can bring snacks & drinks, but please, nothing too messy.  It IS a library, after all! :-) Also, there is no alcohol allowed on the premises.

Robert, thanks for bringing Settlers of Catan! I'd been meaning to give it a try at some point... I hope everyone had fun!

I was victorious! That makes this an awesome meetup. Thanks Alan for getting drafted into doing this.

    How's parking?

It's supposed to be good, but I've never been there.

Willing to try my hand at Cards Against Humanity if someone can help with the rules.

I haven't played yet but I think it'll be fun...

Is this more a T place or a car place? How is the parking and subway access?

Car, or 57 bus. If you can make it to Kenmore Square by 5-ish I can show you the way by the 57 bus, which is what I take everyday.

Can't go due to another meetup. Hopefully next time?

I'll be bringing at _least_ Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, and Smart Ass. Anyone else planning on bringing games?

There will be a variety of games, and I'll be there from around 5pm until they kick us out (7:45 or so); come early, come late!

Also-suggestions for additional locations will be very much appreciated!

I'd love to do a gaming night with the SF group. Like many others, getting out to Brighton on a weeknight is difficult.

Sounds awesome, but like the others have said, on a work night, this is a no-go :(

Sorry, I just noticed it said 5:30. I thought it had said 6:30.

Too early for me on a work night :o(

I know - I'll look for another location, that will be open past 8pm, next time. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

Sounds like fun. Too bad I'm busy :(

No worries, if it goes well we'll do more! I'm definitely interested in suggestions for other locations that have the perfect storm of T-accessible + parking for the rest of us! Perhaps some place open later, too! But libraries are awesome!
