We're hosting another big Halloween bash this year! We're renting out a private hall and will have music and dancing, dinner, games, decorations and a costume contest with cash prizes. Thanks to your feedback, we've found a new location that's bigger, cleaner, and nicer all around. We'll have room to spread out, dance, and play games.
Admission is $25 per person to cover the cost of the event. RSVPs will close a week before the event- so don't wait until the last minute!
Costume contest: First place is $100, second place is $50, third place is $25, so come in costume and be prepared to compete! There is no "theme" for the party or the contest, so let your imagination run wild.
Food: Dinner is being catered by Talk of the Town Catering and the menu will be confirmed once I get an idea of how many people are coming and dietary needs (question to answer when registering). The meal will likely be chicken caccitore, stuffed eggplant rollatini, and baked ziti.
Drinks: A full cash bar [PLEASE NOTE THAT CASH BAR MEANS ACTUAL CASH AND NOT CREDIT CARDS] will be on site. Beer and mixed drinks are around $4 per and wine around $3.50 per. Pitchers of water will be available at no cost.
Location: We will be at Coastie Joe's at the US Coast Guard Base. It's a short walk from the Haymarket T-stop (Green and Orange line) and the Aquarium stop on the blue line. There will be parking available for those who drive. The address is 427 Commercial St., Boston, MA 02109. Please note that you will need to show a valid ID to get onto the base and join the fun.
Last but not least, while we have to charge a cost for this party, we've tried very hard to keep costs as low as possible. No one is making any money off this event, all the money we collect is going into making this party a fantastic night to remember and meetup costs. (Since I know people will ask if it is possible to not pre-pay and pay in person on the night of the party, the answer is no.)
