    That was fun!

It was my rookie mistake to post a single MeetUp event for an entire weekend of 5 separate movies.

Got my ticket for the 9:30 Sat. show. Any others going to be at that one? I'll look for you at the head of the steps around 9.

This is the most vague meetup I have ever seen.

Can't do Friday, but I'm going to try for the Saturday.

I plan on being there all three days, but I'll likely have to bail after the first Torchwood episode on Sunday night. It's a work night, and I have to take 2 trains & a bus to get home.

Carnival of Monsters: was broadcast well before Star Trek TNG holodecks, "The Matrix", and the term "virtual reality". And, what the passengers trapped on the SS Bernice were going through would later be called "Groundhog Day".

    Destiny of the Daleks:
Androids disguised as humans. This happened in "I Robot" (the book). And, again later in Star Trek TOS ("What Little Girls are Made of").
Machine logic incapable of breaking a stalemate: The idea has since been debunked by electronic games. Has it been used before?

The "Champions of Time" MeetUp are also going. (Nice disguise, Lloyd).

I'm looking at Sat. 9:30, "Destiny of the Daleks".
I live in Burlington. I can fit a couple of North-bound T-refugees in my Honda Civic.
I might also do Sun 1:30, "Carnival of Monsters".
(Fri., I'm rising for a Dark Knight).

I'd be into seeing the Friday night double-feature, but it might end past the time that the T runs for some folks!

As it is a multi-event MeetUp, I presume that most, like I, lacking a reliable TARDIS, can see only at least 1 of the events. Now, I'm not sure which, yet (I have other concurrent multi-events to attend). I'm also a MeetUp "rookie". Does anyone or everyone want to try meeting-up before and/or after?
