Who is your favorite sci-fi or fantasy author?

That's like asking a parent who their favorite child is. Growing up I really enjoyed Diane Duane and J.K. Rowling's stories about wizards. But now I have no idea. Just my favorite sci-fi book is always going to be The Giver by Lois Lowry.

What is your favorite sci-fi or fantasy movie?

Galaxy Quest because it pokes fun at Star Trek

What is your favorite sci-fi or fantasy television show?

Right now, Doctor Who. But I was born a Trekkie so I'll always love Star Trek, especially Voyager.

Do you go to any local conventions? If so, which ones?

Arisia[masked], Boston Comic Con 2014 and Creation's Star Trek con in Boston (13+14). Of those Arisia is definitely my favorite con and only one I'll keep returning to. I was lucky to make the pilgrimage to Las Vegas for the huge Star Trek con run by Creation, and to Los Angeles for the Gallifrey One (Doctor Who) convention.

Geek, nerd, bookworm. Wannabe writer. Also a native Bostonian.
