I don't have one favorite sci-fi author, there are so many. I do have a tender spot for DeLindt's modern day fairy tales for fantasy, but there are so many others, how can you choose just one?
Afraid I can't pick just one. I loved Galaxy Quest, the Lord of the Rings, most of the Star Trek movies, Serenity, Willow and Avatar, to name just a few.
Right now I would say Being Human, but any BBC Sci Fi is great. I also enjoy True Blood and Warehouse 13. Past favorites include Star Trek, Earth2, Torchwood, and Primeval.
I haven't been to a convention in years. In the past I attended several Boscon conventions. I wonder if they still do punday night....always thought that was fun.
I am active in meetups and run events for Boston Movie Group. Love to read sci fi, especially stories where whole non-human cultures are created. Love love sci fi & fantasy movies...good ones are great and even some bad ones are fun.
Fun group of science fiction/fantasy fans.
