How about a design charette?

I'd like to work on a design competition with local designers. I find working with others to be inspiring and a way to broaden my horizons. We could meet in cafes to exchange ideas and then form a design team. There are always international competitions to choose from and working on a team would help with discipline and lower the entry fee per participant.

I am the manager of a furniture store in the back bay. You can use my store as a meeting place if you would like even just to get started.

I can't seem to find an organizer for this event, and therefore am pulling out myself and the use of my space. If someone is organizing this event and would like to contact me, I will reconsider.

Sounds like a great idea. I'm wondering if one would have to be an architect to be a part of this team. I'm not, but I've been an architecture critic and commentator.
