ICA tour with ASL Interpretation: Art, Love, and Politics in the 1980's

The Institute of Contemporary Arts will be offering a special tour of their exhibit, "This Will Have Been: Art, Love, and Politics in the 1980's" with an ASL interpreter!

http://www.icaboston.org/exhibitions/exhibit/this_will_have_been/

The ICA tour department and the Visual Experience Manager are very enthusiastic about putting this together for us! They have booked a tour guide who is one of the museums best educators and are offering a discounted admission price. The admission cost will be $10 per person or $8 with a student ID.

If there people who would like to attend but are unable due to financial constraints, one Meetup member has generously offered to help offset admission costs to this event for some people who are in that situation. Feel free to send me an email if you would like more information regarding help with admission costs.

Thank you to James H. for contacting the ICA to make this event happen!

MBTA riders should meet at old rotunda in South Station and ride Silver Line bus together to Courthouse Station then walk to ICA together?

I expect to get there early, so I'll meet everyone at the museum - unless the weather is bad..

Check in at the front desk when you arrive and feel free to share ideas of places to go afterwards. If people are interested, I think there are a lot of bars and restaurants within walking distance for post-tour discussions...

Oh, too bad you can't make it Peter. However, if there's enough interest we will try to do it again, maybe in the fall. So stay tuned :-) and have fun at the Gallaudet event!

I am from Edmonton, Alberta Canada and I will be visiting Boston from feb 16-23 and I would like to join, I'm staying at a friends place that is outside the city so some may be difficult to get to but this one may be ok. I won't be able to RSVP until closer but I have it penciled in
