A number of you have shown interest in a weekday evening meetup in the downtown Boston area. Here it is! Please come and join us for a casual 2 hours ASL social on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
WHO: All who are interested in ASL are welcome to join us. Whether you're Deaf or hearing, beginner or fluent ASL user, we're here to share and socialize in this beautiful language.
WHERE: We'll be in the UNO on Boylston Street (two or three doors from Dunkin Donuts) in Copley Square. Since we'll most likely be the only group of people signing, we should be pretty easy to spot.
RULES: Voices off, use paper and pen if you need to--this helps us learn and its Deaf friendly
RESOURCES: For those of you who are new to ASL and want to come prepared, here are some very good websites with free online classes.
