Show of Hands Theater Presents A Deaf Family Diary

An ASL Play!!! Show of Hands Theater Company presents A Deaf Family Diary, written by Don Bangs and directed by Marlene Hostovsky. The play is set at the wedding of a Deaf bride and groom. The conflict between the bride's Deaf family and the groom's hearing parents culminates in a fist fight in the middle of the wedding ceremony.

There will be 2 performances, 4/25 and 4/26 at 7pm both nights.  Tickets are $20, and $10 for senior citizens, college students with a valid id, and children under 18.   Make checks payable to SOHTC, and mail them to SOHTC, C/O Deaf Inc., 215 Brighton Ave, Brighton, MA 02134. Deadline to mail checks is 4/15. The remaining available tickets will be sold at the door. 50% of proceeds will be donated to Our Deaf Survivors Center.

The entire play will be interpreted by ASL-English interpreters. Questions and Deaf blind interpreter request, please contact Michelle Dunn at [masked].
