Our 300th Scheduled Event! January Blasphemy Brunch

Apropos of arbitrary milestones, this event will be the 300th program the Boston Atheists organization has sponsored through its activities on Perhaps we should get a cake with candles! TELL YOU WHAT: If more than 25 people RSVP, there WILL be cake.*

Join us for our usual casual brunch affair, where the conversation ranges widely in a superstition-free atmosphere. Whet your appetite with a peek at the menu:

As we often do with our brunches, we've selected a charity to support with voluntary giving. Any member who wishes to donate a few dollars to the pot will, this time around, be supporting Action for Boston Community Development Inc., which for fifty years has  "provided basic services and innovative programs that help empower individuals, families, and communities in Boston to overcome poverty, live with dignity, and achieve their full potential." Learn more about their good works at Even if you don't plan to attend the brunch, you're welcome to chip in to the donation via PayPal (or other arrangements... contact me to make a cash or check contribution). All proceeds go directly to ABCD.

If you are aware of a local cause that you'd like to see supported by an upcoming Blasphemy Brunch, let us know!

* The cake is not a lie.

Good to feel like part of a community; will try to talk to more of you at future events.

I had a great time, talking about Italian culture, long-board surfing, and the other usual diverse topics. And in brainstorming The Next Phrase of the Boston Atheists!

I'd encourage EVERYONE to wear photo-friendly clothing. We won't shrink from the opportunity to gather photographic evidence that Atheists are a giving, warm, and good-looking tribe.

I've ordered an ELT t-shirt too. This could turn into a photo-op with us and the donations for ABCD, and of course we'd have to send a copy to Jessica.
If my ELT shirt doesn't arrive in time, I guess I'll have to wear my "Friendly Neighborhood Atheist" shirt!

LOL... of course!! And thank you for calling me a Heretic... it's one of the things about myself of which I'm most proud. Hoping my "Evil Little Thing" tee shirt arrives in time for the brunch!
