I think one of the lessons we've learned and incorporated into how we do science is to realize that you're unlikely to change your mind, and to take steps to try to re-evaluate what you think is true in light of new evidence. I've decided that I was wrong and changed my mind, and I like to think that it was based on evidence, but I can't say I've never changed my mind for the wrong reason.
