Interesting question, Zachary, and one that, as a writer, I am humbled to find I have no immediate answer for. I will share the question on Fluther.com
, a social Q&A site I participate in. Unlike many social media venues on the Internet, Fluther has more than its share of very bright people, and that includes a number or writers, copy editors and linguists as well as a large and vocal community of atheists and agnostics.
I share this with the full mailing list in hopes some of you who might enjoy the idea of social Q&A but find many of the common venues such as Sodahead.com
, Yahoo! Answers
to be more than a bit childish might give Fluther a try. It's free, fun, and often surprisingly informative.

Friends and colleagues:
Prompted by a presentation yesterday, I roused myself to compile a list of words which might serve as alternatives to the problematic term "interfaith". I'd like to ask you to take a look and suggest your own alternatives, and to circulate the URL so as to get as many people as are interested in the topic to take a look and make their own suggestions.
Yours in lexical strategy,
