The one occasion I've spoken with him, he wanted to talk about 9/11
(he believes "they aren't telling us everything" about it, meaning the
government) instead of religion. I always have trouble knowing how to
respond to people who are acting out of 1) a laudable sincerity and 2)
a kind of derangement.
