The scale of the universe.

This relates neatly to a disproof argument I've encountered, one which says that the existence of the Christian god (for example) is made less likely, in view of the fact that the universe is 1) ever so much more larger than we'll ever have access to, and 2) has such a long history, past and future, in which human beings were not or will not be present. This empirical evidence seems hard to reconcile with the assertion that humans were created in a decidedly Earth-centric god's image.
