True Lies and False Facts: A Questionable Tour of Boston

Ever heard that the truth is stranger than fiction? This Boston By Foot tour proves the point! True Lies & False Facts is the first “questionable” tour of Boston that keeps participants guessing. Join us on March 30th at 2pm outside the Boston Public Library, at the corner of Dartmouth and Boylston Streets, for an hour and a half of stories – some of which are true, and others aren’t.

After the tour, we'll all meet at Jacob Wirth's on Stuart Street where the true stories will be announced and prizes will be offered for those who guessed best.

Tickets are $20 or $10 for Boston By Foot Members.  You can buy tickets by clicking here.

Aside from the cold rain, this afternoon was a lot of fun. Great planning and organization by Boston on Foot!

Boston by Foot is rain or shine...today it might be a bit more of the former. But I think it's going to stop for the tour!

So disappointed to miss this, but I'm not certain I'll be back in the area to be on time. If possible, I'll be sure to catch up with you all.

I'm so sorry I won't be able to come tomorrow. A family commitment came up unexpectedly. I was really looking forward to this event and hope something similar is planned in the future. It sounds like some much fun - enjoy!

I've purchased a ticket online but haven't received an e-mail. Will someone at the event have a record of ticket purchases?

      Sorry--I do have my ticket.

Hi! How long does the entire event last?

    March 24, 2014

    • Justin W.

The tour itself will be about 1.5 hours, but the "after party" at Jacob Wirth's where the answers are revealed, will probably last a little longer. Once all the tour groups have arrived at the restaurant, we'll reveal the answers.

I'm a storyteller on this year's Questionable Tour. Come find out if I'm lying or telling the truth!

The "Q tour" is one of the highlights of my BBF year...love hearing the stories but the folks I swear would never lie seem to do so and those stories I think could never be true generally are! LOVE IT.
