SPEAKER - talk - title: "TBA" - Date - January 8, 2013 - IN MANDARIN WITH ENGLISH (to help those with limited Mandarin) - 7:00 pm

We have general discussion from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm, a DISCUSSION TOPIC at 7:00 pm, and DISCUSSION (in Mandarin) from 7:30 -8:00 pm (then adjourn slightly after - but NOT before - 8:00 pm).

The TUESDAY evening event is ALWAYS in at the Harvard School of Public Health, 677 Huntington Avenue, in the Longwood Medical Area, Boston, MA 02115 (near Mission Hill).

We will talk in English and Mandarin.

If you would like to share in English and Mandarin (as a speaker on a Chinese-American, International, or Chinese topic interesting to Americans) from 7:00 to 7:20 pm, e-mail in advance.  We are scheduling bilingual speakers to show off their talents to advanced through beginning Mandarin speakers.

6:00 - 7:00 pm - informal chat and getting to know others

7:00 - 7:30 pm - bilingual "guest" speaker

7:30 - 8:00 pm - question and answer - bilingual English and Mandarin

Mandarin speakers need to register IN ADVANCE to get the location at HSPH and to get permission.

E-Mail [masked] and [masked] (with first and last name as they appear on the ID you present to the HSPH security guard) to register your intent - AND also sign YES on this meetup.


If you don't HAVE a Harvard ID, we need your request for admission on Tuesday evening to be COMPLETED by 4 pm the day before the event. NOT registering in advance will leave out at the building security guard's desk. IF you bring guests, their names are also required so that they can also get building passes.
