I'm a product line manager for telecom diagnostics software. If there's a problem with your DSL line, our software tells you what it is and who to send to repair it.
Interested in providing context and discovering trends and relationships in the 100s of gigabytes of data we collect on the telco lines. A big piece of this is visualization tools.
Stephen Few is a big inspiration. My favorite example / tool is Panopticon's tree map, which I've always want to use to show how the stability of DSL lines connected to headend network elements vary over time.
I'm currently getting started and exploring different tools, but eventually, yes!
Excellent speakers and great coordination. Thanks Irene!
