Tech Stack Decisions: Putting Emerging Technologies Into Practice

Three local technology leaders will discuss the challenges and benefits of putting emerging technologies into practice, and why they've made the tech stack decisions that they've made. We'll have a few moderated questions, followed by a Q&A with the audience. Food and alcohol will be provided.

Sean Lindsay, VP Engineering - TapJoy

Sean is VP Engineering at Tapjoy, following it's acquisition of Viximo where he was Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. An experienced technical entrepreneur with a strong history designing and delivering new products to emerging markets, Sean is also an advisor to several early stage startups and coordinates the independent FounderMentors program. Previously, Sean served in a variety of engineering and technology leadership roles at PanGo (acquired by InnerWireless), BEA (ultimately acquired by Oracle), Upromise (ultimately acquired by Sallie Mae), and Novera (acquired by Mercator).

Rich Paret, Director of Engineering - Crashlytics

Rich is the Director of Engineering for Crashlytics, which provides powerful yet lightweight analytics for iOS applications. Previously, Rich was the Senior Director of Engineering at Brightcove, and Chief Systems Architect at Ruckus Network.
