For those who like a hip, modern take on crafts, whether it's knitting, scrapbooking, ceramics, polymer clay, home decorating, sewing, jewelry making, paper crafts, altered arts, assemblage/collage, needlepoint, soapmaking, crochet, purse/bag making, decoupage, screenprinting T-shirts, or any kind of Do It Yourself project. Bring a project in progress to meetups or learn some basics from others about their craft. Get ideas on making your own gifts for holidays. Every level of ability welcome.

You will like this group if you like Bazaar Bizarre, Etsy.com, Craftster.com, ReadyMade and Craft magazines; if make your own gifts and recycle and reuse and refurbish materials into new cool things.

All events are FREE. You simply bring your own project to work on. Some meetups may be held at venues where there is stuff available to purchase, but it is optional. We may also advertise classes from time to time but typically we get them at discount.

Learn to create 12-bead and 30 bead self-supporting structures which can be strung on chain or incorporated to other jewelry. We will go over structural building as well as embellishment.
