What is Feminism to you?

feminism can be as simple as awareness. of where we have been, how we relate to others and present ourselves, and what systems of power and dominance are perpetuated by how we behave in this world. ..and it is so much more.

How/why did you find this group?

I found this group through a string of meetup searches. I am very excited to discuss these burgeoning thoughts in my head with people who have similar and differing thoughts. ! :)

How can we find more young Boston Feminists?

raise awareness where ever I go. for me: not shying away from conversations or comments that tip patriarchal boats.

I moved to Boston in July and this summer found myself reading a string of novels that deal with women's rights, the struggle for them, and the effort that is continually needed to redefine gender rights and expression in our country and globally.
