What is Feminism to you?

A political and social philosophy that calls for equality for women. An approach that is concerned with issues that specifically address the concerns and needs of women, such as health care access, access to abortion, and equal pay. Feminists also work to challenge gender roles, and assumptions about the roles of both men and women.

How/why did you find this group?

Searched for left political groups on Meetup.

How can we find more young Boston Feminists?

Networking, but not just through social media. Through 3rd parties, radical left groups, and through unions and at universities.

Introduction

I'm Darren W. Lyle, married, and a member of the Socialist Party USA. In my humble opinion, women's rights are actually moving backward, not forward.
