What is Feminism to you?

I've been a feminist since before I was born (see the hyphen my mom put in my last name). The common misconception about feminism is that it is man-hating. The feminism I practice is a striving toward equality in the face of glass ceilings, etc.

How/why did you find this group?

I met Rayshauna at SoJust's birthday party. Rayshauna, your energy is formidable and inspiring. I can't wait to hang out with you more! And I hope you join Voices of Harmony :)

How can we find more young Boston Feminists?

Wonder Women, QWOC, Queer & Women Gamers, Women's Studies departments of nearby colleges (e.g. Simmons). Just keep doing what you're doing, and being who you are :)

I'm psyched to hang out with y'all! I've been creating my own multicultural musical community, Voices of Harmony, and it will be great to hang out in such an inclusive place without needing to organize it myself :)
