Announcing a new Meetup for New Wave - Young Boston Feminists!

What: Aroa Fine Chocolate: Thou Shalt Get Thy Taste On!

When: Tuesday, June 29,[masked]:30 PM

Aroa Fine Chocolate
1651 Washington Street (between Concord St & Worcester St)
Boston, MA 02118

Aroa Fine Chocolate combines the very noblest of European traditions and modern techniques of artisan chocolatiers. Our creations possess a delicate balance of flavor and aroma earning Aroa a special place in the world of handmade chocolates and gourmet pastries.

New executive pastry chef Tim Brown and owner of Mem Teas, Mark Mooradian, invite you to a night of delicious indulgence at Aroa. Learn how to pair tea and chocolate, while you discover the fine points of creating both.

Mooradian will provide patrons with several different teas - including herbal, green, black and fermented choices. Mooradian travels to China to personally purchase the teas he sells, and will filled tasters in on the purported health benefit of each tea. Brown will pair each with a complementary chocolate bonbon. Tasters will enjoy discovering how tea brings out the different dimensions of each bonbon they taste, and leave with an appreciation for the pairing of two fine creations.

The tasting costs $12 per person. I will reserve 7 spots in advance [so you won't need to call the shop to rsvp] and adjust the number depending on how many are interested.
