Come one, come all! Summer has left us all too soon and we're looking to reconnect with you all before the winter gets any ideas...
Are you interested in meeting and /or networking in a space where you can bring ALL of yourself to the table? Are you new-in-town and seeking a multicultural/multinational queer community in Boston? Are you looking to add more friends to your feminist posse? Are you looking for rommates / workout buddies / spring crushes? Do you like the color, purple? Do you dig diversity?
If you nodded at any of those questions, then our 2010 annual fall social is for YOU.
A Special Occasion! We'll also be celebrating our afrofeminist founder (Spectra Speaks)'s Lavender Rhino Award from The History Project, meaning we will have lots of cake! :-)
**IMPORTANT RSVP INFO**
This event is FREE W/ RSVP at Lavender Soiree at Event Brite Otherwise, admission is $8.
**WOULD YOU LIKE TO VOLUNTEER?**
Volunteers get to attend for free too! We still need a few more people. We're looking for greeters, listserv managers, schmoozers, photographers, and videographers. No experience necessary -- just an eagerness to make others feel welcome. Email volunteer at qwocboston.org for more info.
Our friendly social will be followed by the LAUNCH EVENT for a MONTHLY "INTERNATIONAL HOUSE MUSIC" DANCE PARTY (like our ROOTS pride party) w/ RIZZLA!
Hope to see MFP friendlies at the event!
