I'll be voting for Martha Coakley. She has a long and solid history of
fighting for women's and LGBT rights, including equal marriage and the
right to choose. She needs your vote in this election in order to
defeat Republican candidate Scott Brown. Be sure all your friends know
of the election too.

Note the final paragraph of the latter, which sums up the
public-service and feminist-minded nature of Coakley's work, from the
very beginning of her career as a private practice lawyer straight
through to her senatorial aspirations: "As a lawyer in private
practice, Coakley represented minors seeking legal consent to access
reproductive health services. As a D.A. and attorney general, she
fought to uphold the rights guaranteed by Roe. She will fight in the
Senate to protect reproductive freedom."
