Look on the turf field
Here's the game plan:
- 7:00 - Toss the disc around, meet folks, be merry
- 7:15 - Overview of the rules, safety, etc - then divide into teams
- 7:30- Play!!!!!!
- 9:00 - Conclude the meetup with snacks and socializing
Here's what we humbly ask of you (works great as a checklist):
- Dress for the weather
- Bring a white and a dark-colored t-shirt (no gray)
- Arrive on time to be guaranteed a spot in a game
- RSVP is recommended so you can be notified if the game is canceled
- Bring WATER!
- If you are a regular, please consider bringing a buck for the Frisbee Fund
As usual, we will supply the frisbees, cones, lanyards, first aid supplies (hopefully will never be used) and our pretty smiles. As we periodically mention, all these supplies are paid out-of-pocket by your loving Frisbee organizers and everyone has been so generous with their donations to-date. at 4 pm, it was playable, but there was probably only room for one game. however, "playable" == slushy. A part of the field was kind of clear with some patches of ice. Seeing how it is going to drop below freezing again tonight, all of that will probably freeze up again. I'm going to call the game cancelled.

That being said, if you want to play, go for it :P
Otherwise, anyone up for Warm Bodies at Fresh Pond Theater at 7:45?

There was some patchy turf on Wednesday night and it radiates well, so with a couple days of late February sun and above freezing temperatures, maybe it's enough to clear the field sufficiently to play?
