Sunday Afternoon @ Russell Field

Here's the game plan:
- 1:00p - Toss the disc around, meet folks, be merry
- 1:15 - Overview of the rules, safety, etc - then divide into teams
- 1:30 - Play!!!!!!
- 3:00p - Conclude the meetup with snacks and socializing
Here's what we humbly ask of you (works great as a checklist):
- Dress for the weather
- Bring a white t-shirt and a colored t-shirt
- Arrive on time to be guaranteed a spot in a game
- RSVP is recommended so you can be notified if the game is canceled
- Bring WATER!
- If you are a regular, please consider bringing a buck for the Frisbee Fund
As usual, we will supply the frisbees, cones, pinnies, sunscreen, first aid supplies (hopefully will never be used) and our pretty smiles. As we periodically mention, all these supplies are paid out-of-pocket by your loving Frisbee organizers and everyone has been so generous with their donations to-date. Thank you and let's keep the dream alive!

Have we determined if the field is playable? It was pretty deadly on Wednesday and there haven't been that many above freezing days to thaw.

I'd say the key is layers. Like, a long-sleeve shirt under a sweatshirt. Maybe even bring a t-shirt. You get pretty warm running around. If you have any athletic gear that helps keep you dry (like the moisture wicking stuff or waterproof stuff) on a day like today that would be good. Also very important are warm socks and a change of socks afterward. Hope that helps!

No worries! Boston Frisbee is for all skill levels, especially beginners. We play with modified rules so that everyone is included regardless of talent. You would be totally fine. Hope you make it!
