Thanks for the welcome! Did you catch his show a few months ago at Paradise?

Stephin Merritt wasn't exactly a ray of sunshine on the day I saw him as well, but his sarcasm makes me laugh and I like how the band members play along.
Friday's show was really good. They played some of my favorites from 69 like,"All my little Words" and "The Book of Love." They also did, "I don't Believe You" from, "i", which I really like too.
I'm on the lookout for a recording of the show online. If I find one, I'll let you know.

Not at all. I love local shows at the Varsity... you should check out Glorious Monster, a Mpls band that just played there a month or so ago. Good stuff.
