Morning sessions were good, but afternoon sessions lacked depth. Marketing track proved to be more technical that the Science track!

Very well presented. Speakers did a good job of referencing points in previous talks to present a cohesive view of an evolutionary future for data analytics. Great focus on aligning with and supporting business needs and goals.

all marketing, little-to-no technical content. not a great cross-posting for a Hadoop User Group.

Mostly marketing fluff, but that's to be expected since it was a free event with big sponsors at a nice venue. There was one presentation that I liked at the end by a professor from Univ of Maryland, he was talking about concepts in CS and Marketing. At the end we were chatting for a while. So on balance, I came out with a positive opinion.

Thanks for posting this event as I would not have known about it.

I really liked the opening presentation and I got to meet a lot of interesting people and find out what they are doing. It was a great value for a free event. :-) Actually, that they even provided lunch was amazing.
