What Wade W. is saying about this Meetup Group

The reason Boston PHP is the biggest group is because PHP has the most market penetration. PHP is also imfamous for having some of the worst developers out there, due to its ease of use. I dont mean to sound like a prick but I really think that this meetup is not as special as some people may think it is. If the meetups were focused on respecting the speaker's time and not debating what logo to use (although the tech was cool to text in, ill give u that... that would be a good topic for a meetup though, it shouldnt have wasted Steve Krug's time like that). Sitting in the meetup during the "announcements" there were a lot of rolled eyes and sighs. I was expecting Krug to talk from 7-9, and I was there at 6:10, sitting in the room, waiting for 50 minutes because the booth camp thing was a turn off due to lighting & low tables. While most of this feedback is negative, I do want to share my positive encouragement 4 u 2 make necessary changes, iterate, and get better in the future.
