  • Hi Ned,

I'm on the waiting list for tonight's talk (5/23/2012). Will I be notified if my status changes?

  • Is the project night event for tomorrow for absolute beginners also? Otherwise I will give up my spot and wait for the next beginners event.

  • Hey Ned,

I work more on the frontend side of things in Digital Creative Services. The dev team would be the group to speak to if you are really looking to get the scoop. I know we have quite a few things built in python and Django but exactly how many things and what they do is not a question I can address. I can speak to a someone on the dev team who would be glad to join the group if he isn't already and share this information.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

  • Hi Ned! I agree, the science meetup is totally relevant to my interests, unfortunately a close friend of mine is getting married the next day so I'll have to skip it this time. I hope there's something like it in the future. Cheers.

  • Do you remember I offered to give a talk on a simple python image processing platform? I have finished the code, am beefing up the docstrings, and am ready to show it, and to post the code to a good place.

The code uses Image, pyglet, pygarrayimage, and scipy.

Any recommendations? I would love to offer it as a contribution to some open source example base.
