58 Meetups
I'm the organizer of Boston PHP. I've been in the software business for over 20 years and I'm a big fan of open source technology such as PHP. Why not come to one of our meetups, get involved and learn why others love PHP so much.

Boston PHP is an active group that has been meeting since 2002. Great presentations and engaging discussion on a wide range of topics all related to PHP and Open Source technology. If your into web development, this group is for you. All meetings are free, and everyone is encouraged to participate, get involved, and help grow the PHP community. After each meeting we typically go to a nearby restaurant/bar/pub for more informal discussion.

Did anything come of your effort to build a Meetup alternative? I was talking with some other disgruntled users, and I recalled the Boston PHP discussions...
Hi Michael,
Do you have copies of hand-outs and/or presentation slides from the Twitter API meeting?
Thank you,
Alex

Michael, how are you? I was hoping I could introduce myself and my copmany as a potential resource for the group. I was hoping we could discuss having Robert Half host a meeting at our 125 High Street location or potential sponsership for events... I look forward to your response.
This is a great idea. Although I know this is Boston PHP, I'm glad you include other topics.
Do you need help with the testing? This is part of what I do professionally -- I'm a Senior Human Factors Engineer at the MITRE Corporation.
Michael,
Did you find a host for the proposed Tim B-L talk?
My suggestion is Bentley University in Waltham. Since they have a big Human Factors MS program, I think Bill Gribbons, the head of the department, would be interested.
I'm a graduate of the program and am on pretty good terms with Bill, so I could help you set it up.

Thanks Michael, it is a great project to work on and hope to (after the 3 classes) to really have a great-looking and functional pizza order system. Great class, glad to be a new member of BostonPHP!
Thanks Michael. I was really looking forward to it, so if you think I'll be able to follow, I'll come. See you tomorrow :-)
Thanks, Michael, I know it will be a valuable presentation, and I hate to miss this one, but I have a rehearsal I couldn't get out of.
Why devote a meeting to Agile/Scrum when there are already two monthly Agile/Scrum meetings?
