DON'T MAKE ME THINK

All,
I am really excited about our upcoming meetup on Usability with Steve Krug. There has been so much talk around town on this event. We now have over 350 people registered with some people still on the waiting list.

It's going to be one of our best meetups ever with Steve taking us through the concepts of Usability and Usability Testing and how you can do it yourself. We will also perform a live Usability test on a lucky members own site. We will also raffle off a few of Steve's books to attendees.

Usability with Steve Krug
Wednesday, Nov 17 6pm-9pm

Don't miss it!
We only have limited space for this very popular event. I ask that if you have already RSVP'd, then please mark and check your calendar to assure us that you will be there. We will be taking attendance, so please make sure your RSVP is accurate. If you can no longer attend, then please RSVP NO so that that someone else can attend in your place. It will be sad if you don't show and someone else was not able to take your spot. We are videoing the event, so even if you miss it, you can still catch it later.

Booth Camp:
I am also very excited about something new we are launching we're calling Booth Camp. During the socializing hour from 6-7, we will setup some booths where we will have experts offering personal PHP tech support, Members asking advice (usability) on their own app, Members giving a show/tell demo of something their doing with PHP Technology, etc.

Our hope is that this will make good use of the social hour, and get you more engaged with other members. Boston PHP will have our own booth too so we can hear from your ideas on how to make Boston PHP even better.

We already have several members signed up to offer expert PHP/JS support, and we could still use more. We are also still looking for others to show and tell what their doing in PHP, and anyone needing to ask advice and usability of their own app/site.

If your interested, then please let Matt Murphy know so we can make arrangements. Otherwise, I am counting on you all coming at 6pm and using BoothCamp. This is somewhat of an experiment to see if people like it - let's make it work!

See you there:
I look forward to seeing you at the event. Feel free to bring your favorite Steve Krug book and get it autographed by Steve! Also don't forget that our sponsor is providing free Pizza, Food, and Drinks - bring your appetite!
