Week 7: PHP Percolate! Season 4

Gene B.
Boston, MA

"People are like tea bags.  You find out how strong they are when you put them in hot water." ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

Welcome to Week 7 of PHP Percolate! Season 4.  Once we make it through this week we will have passed the mid-season mark.  The water is getting hot.  If you find yourself losing energy and enthusiasm, then these next few weeks might require extra focus.  No matter what chapter you are currently on, set your near-term sights on making it through Chapter 7.  Once you do, you will be on the downside of the schedule with fewer chapters remaining than you have completed.

This Week's Target

The goal for this week is to read Chapter 7, complete the exercises and post links to your work. You can read all of the tea leaves at PHP Percolate! Season 4 -- Master Discussion List.  You can find bad brew listed in the Errata section of Larry Ullman's website.

A Spot of Tea

If you live in the Boston area, please join us for a spot of tea with Larry Ullman.  He is making a special journey all the way from Pennsylvania just to serve up his hot topic, How to Become a Web Developer.  More than 200 Web enthusiasts have already received Tea Passes.  Less than 20 place settings remain.  Reserve your spot today.

In the meantime, make that kettle boil.  A switch from coffee to tea just might do the trick.
