@David -- Nice experiment. The thickness of your yellow border on hover does appear to mess up the alignment of the other images, however.

I have read chapter 13. I plan to use delegate in my work, though I believe in the latest jquery its handled by on().
The key stumbling block for me was it took me a while to realize I had to do it on the container one level above the area where I would be adding elements.
