"A ship in port is safe, but that's not what ships are built for." -- Grace Murray Hopper

Welcome to Week 6 of jQuery jAM, Season 3.  The goal for this week is to read Chapter 6, complete the tutorials and post a link to your work in the Chapter 6 discussion area.

Chapter 6 concludes Part Two: Getting Started with jQuery.  As we dive deeper into jQuery functionality, the jQuery jAM website can enhance our learning.  Take special notice of the Tutorials page which features six tabs:

Galleries | Navigation | Forms | Effects | Lists | Mobile

Feel free to experiment with one tutorial per week if you would like an additional challenge -- once your weekly assignment has been completed and posted.  Share this bonus work with your fellow jAMmers and let us know how effective you found the tutorial to be in supplementing your learning experience.

For example, check out Mike Murphy's bonus work:

Note that the tutorials at the jQuery jAM website are bonus material only.  The primary focus should be to complete the assignments that are outlined in the book.

Please post feedback about the jQuery jAM website in a special discussion set up in the Discussion Area entitled jQuery jAM Website Feedback.  Also feel free to stay informed about jQuery jAM by following our social media updates.
