Week 8: jQuery jAM, Season 3

"Be like a postage stamp.  Stick to one thing until you get there." -- Josh Billings

Welcome to Week 8 of jQuery jAM, Season 3.  This week we will pass the midway point on our journey.  The goal for this week is to read Chapter 8, complete the tutorials and post a link to your work in the Chapter 8 discussion area.

Chapter 8 continues Part Three: Building Web Page Features.  The focus for Chapter 8 is Improving Navigation.

As we dive deeper into jQuery functionality, the jQuery jAM website can enhance our learning. Feel free to experiment with one Tutorial per week if you would like an additional challenge -- once your weekly assignment has been completed and posted.  Share this bonus work with your fellow jAMmers.

For example, check out Mike Murphy's bonus tutorial:

~ Parallax Content Slider

This week you can check out the Navigation tab of the jQuery jAM website to learn more about advanced navigation techniques that are enabled by jQuery.

Please post feedback about the jQuery jAM website in a special discussion set up in the Discussion Area entitled jQuery jAM Website Feedback.  Also feel free to stay informed about jQuery jAM by following our social media updates.
