Week 2: PHP Percolate! Season 6

"One-half of knowing what you want is knowing what you must give up before you get it." -- Sidney Howard

Welcome to PHP Percolate! Season 6.  All percolators should now have a copy of The Book, read the Introduction and posted a message in the Introduction discussion area.  If you have not yet done so, then these steps should be completed this week.

The goal for this week is to read Chapter 2, complete the exercises and post a link to your exercises in the Chapter 2 discussion area.  Review the comments in the Chapter 2 discussion area to see how others have posted their work.

Our Team

The number of Boston PHP members who have expressed an interest in Season 6 is 123.

The number of members who have purchased The Book, read the Introduction and posted a message is 36.

We begin Week 2 with 36 percolators suited up and ready to begin.  The 87 other participants will need to check in at the scorer's table by posting a message in the Introduction discussion area.  The challenge of getting started is knowing what you will give up this week in order to get started with Chapter 1.  If you have any questions about getting started, please post them in the Introduction discussion area.

The Master Discussion List for Season 6 offers an easy-to-access list of each chapter's discussions along with the target dates for completion.  Please bookmark for your convenience.
