As I once heard a poet say, "Anything can be poetry, but not everything is." That is my guideline in writing poetry.
My taste in poetry is eclectic, although I tend to prefer shorter, lyrical poems.
Poetry is a medium for creative expression. The material of the medium is words (although so-called "sound poetry" calls into question the necessity of words in making poetry).
Hi. My name is Larry Bole, and in 2012 I moved to the Boston area from New York City, where I was a member of Poets House and the St. Mark's Poetry Project. I look forward to enjoying poetry in Boston.
