Hey just saw this on Instructables, since it combines the RPi and Python I thought folks might be interested: http://www.instructables.com/id... Also uses MQTT, which is a poplular IoT proto.

Raspberry Pi guy: I meant to get your contact info. Wondering how best to go about acquiring such a device...

    • Thom Nichols

Hi Melih, The official distribution partners for the RPi are listed on the right side here: http://www.raspberryp... Adafruit sells them too but it looks like they are all out of stock. So David might be your man. If I can help any other way you can contact me @thom_nic or [masked]

Hi - New member of the group :)
On the waiting list for the Dec 4th project night.
Is the night really packed - or can I still show up - given that it is the holiday season, and not all that signed up will show up?

    Thank you,
    Muthu

    • Ned Batchelder

Muthu, I know the wait list is frustrating, but please honor it. We take likelihood of attendance into account when setting the limits. Don't worry, though: often in the days leading up to the event, as people double-check their plans, they update their RSVP, and the wait list empties.

Thanks for the reply, Ned. Will honor the wait list.
