Introduction

I'm based in Tampa-FL but will be visiting Boston every now and then. Looking forward to meeting Python web developers from the area. Hoping to move to Boston in the summer of 2013.

What's the coolest thing you've done with Python?

Wrote a very thin RESTful API using Bottle to serve data stored in Oracle. Really enjoyed starting with a micro-framework and building upwards as needed.

What would you like to learn in the Python world?

When building web apps, I focus on two qualities: ease of use and speed. How do I write Pythonic code that supports these two qualities? Every layer of the stack has to do its part; how can my Python logic step up to the challenge?

Any particular areas of expertise outside of Python?

ColdFusion. Soccer. Backyard fitness. Baking bread.
