Greetings, I'm a 26 year old just starting my career in IT. I'm enrolled in a Software Engineering degree and have a great interest in learning Python. I've done some basics on my own but could use some guru's in my e-life. Hope to meet some!
Well...not a whole lot yet. I've read through some O'Rielly books (well, more bricks than books). I've dont most of my programming in C, figuring that a lower level program would be the best place to start. I've also worked with JavaScript and some HTML5 but Python really has me hooked. So, my coolest thing is yet to come.
I want to gain mastery of the language in hopes that I can build something that will make the world a better, more interesting place. I want to learn how far Python can stretch and I hope to blend it with my creative endeavors as well.
Well, I currently am a Support Engineer for some proprietary software of a local publishing company. I'm fairly cozy in HTML, JavaScript, and network penetration testing. I run Linux and OSX at home and like life on the command line. I'm also a damn good knitter and a classical pianist. I hope to write programs that will intersect with these areas of my life.
